Uniforms not only provide parents with the ease of dressing their child in the morning rush, but serve an even greater purpose in maintaining the integrity of the educational environment.Clothing can easily become a distraction. Issues of appropriateness and social stigmas can quickly interfere with the classroom environment. At Riverstone Montessori, your child's education is our first priority, and as such, we seek to keep distractions to a minimum.
There is no shortage of individuality expressed in our community, as any parent, teacher or assistant will tell you. However, instead of focusing on the external, what a person wears, where it was purchased and for how much, etc...the focus can be transferred to a person's character and what a person thinks or feels. We are interested in who they are on the inside.
